Commercial Projects

Coquitlam Boulevard

Grand Central Station with a French flair became the inspiration for this project. A rich warm palette was used alongside traditional details to create a dramatic environment.

Dockside Cafe

The goal of the design was to create an up to date West Coast look while maintaining intimate environments within the large volume. The use of large over scaled columns and light fixtures helped create drama and interest in this two-story space

Drawings

Fraser Downs Racetrack

The goal of this renovation was to infuse new life into this 30-year-old building.
The use of saturated colours and a variety of textures helped the spaces become more vibrant, and appeal to a new generation of patrons.

Hotel Suites

Sheffield Design has been providing hospitality design for 25 years. In depth, knowledge of products and services required to successfully complete these projects on time and written budget are our strength.
Our design team can create cutting contemporary to traditional, European or ethnic design concepts. We believe in providing good design that not only works functionally but also provide integrity and a sense of belonging.

Merganzer

The Okanagan Lakeside location of this restaurant became our inspiration, using the colours and textures from the surrounding hills as our palette.

River Rock Resort Hotel

Our goal was to create a modern version of the classic grand lodges of the past using the West Coast vocabulary. It's incredible vast resources of materials, forms and textures create a dramatic and exciting environment aimed at the international as well as the local client.

River Rock Theatre

West Coast Native Art became the inspiration for the colour palette profiling rich deep tones and textures found in British Columbia. The result is a stunning but classic backdrop for this performing arts facility.

Sawridge Inn

Our goal was to interpret our client's unique brand by providing an environment that was warm and comfortable and had a strong connection and respect for nature. Large scaled forms and dramatic textures create an exciting environment that can be appreciated through out the actual spaces as well as for those overlooking from the floors above.

Tramonto

In this upscale Italian restaurant, deep colours were used in the millwork and carpet to provide a rich backdrop on which the other design elements were set. Creating unique built-in seating while still allowing flexibility of layout was achieved by the use of moveable Loius XIV banquette-like settees.
